Background

A compact workspace was integrated into a one-room apartment without adding partitions. The brief was focus, calm, and minimal footprint.

What we changed

We defined the zone with a small rug, a narrow oak desk, and a shallow wall shelf. Layered lighting combines a desk lamp, wall sconce, and ambient ceiling light. Cables were routed cleanly and storage was built into the shelf to keep the surface clear. Materials follow the home palette linen, wool, pale oak.

Result

The workstation feels intentional, quiet, and easy to use. It supports daily tasks, keeps clutter down, and blends seamlessly with the rest of the room.
