Background
A small coastal cottage needed a fresh, welcoming feel for seasonal guests. We set a calm palette and a simple plan that works for frequent use.
What we changed
We introduced light wood, linen, wool, and woven textures. Soft blues and sandy neutrals echo the island setting. Furniture was rearranged for clearer circulation, with durable fabrics and washable covers. Storage was added for bedding and beach gear. Lighting was updated to a mix of ceiling, wall, and table fixtures.
Result
Rooms feel brighter and more coherent. The cottage is easy to maintain, comfortable for guests, and aligned with the coastal character.
